Hi

My son, Richard, attended the iphone developers conference in London this week.
There were two representatives of RNIB there who he said made a very good
presentation and impressed many of the developers there, so happy to give RNIB
a thumbs up there.

Much has been said about the lack of multi tasking on the iphone and I put this
to Richard who said that was disenuous as it does indeed multi task - but only
with Apple products (for example mail runs in the background while you take a
call etc.) it does not allow third party software to multi task (at present)
for security reasons. The answer to the voiceover/zoom conflict is likely
more a question of system resources being insufficient and hopefully that will
be resolved in the near future.

Any way thought this info might be of interest.

Regards

G
