Hi, Password the account and enable a screen saver password. That will do it, so long as the screen saver will come on. If she has a login password, she needs to enter it in whenever she logs in. My girlfriend's got involved in a bit of a fight tonight, because her sister was doing things she shouldn't be doing to her laptop. So what she was thinking is maybe have software that automatically locks her laptop down after a certain period, then to unlock it she'd enter a password which only she knows. Perhaps the software could turn the screen black or something like that, something that would stop her sister from invading Hannah's "laptop privacy" really. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. By the way, this should work with JAWS, and it should be free. She's also using Windows XP Home SP3. -- Chris Hallsworth Derbyshire, UK E-mail christopherhallsworth71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN ch9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype chrishallsworth7266 Website http://www.chrishallsworth.co.nr Klango chrishallsworth FTP ftp://chrishallsworth.dyndns.org ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
