Actually I sometimes have both jaws and window eyes running at the same time. They don't always talk together, for instance if you are using the mouse then just window eyes will talk when you hovver the cursor over text and graphics. It's only when you start using the keyboard or a screen refresh takes place that Jaws will kick in as well.

Because I still have residual vision I find using window eyes especially useful for reading sections of text that are complicated by use of the jaws cursor.

It's rare that I have both running simultaneously, but it does help in some circumstances.

Of course it's all down to personal preference and what works for some won't work for others.

Darren.

Hi Ari,

They don't mean running them together, they merely mean having them all
installed on the machine. Of course, you would have to close one to run
another.

All the best

Steve

How can you run JAWS and Window Eyes together, what about different
keystrokes, and speech clashes? Sounds so illogical, what do you do to
actually run them together?
