[access-uk] Slightly OT, Web page loading

Hi All,
I seem to be encountering a bit of a niggling problem. On a number of sites,
the loading seems to hault when around 2 or 3 objects are left to load. I've
only AVG on here with the firewall in the router and in XP Home SP2 Security
settings are standard, as far as I can see and I've even done a reset to IE
original settings. I've checked that no pictures are on there though they
never posed a problems before and that ann annimations etc are off. I've a
Vigor 2600 router directly connected to this machine and I'm on a plus net 2
meg line.
Any suggestions?
Pop up blocker is switched off as well.
