Thanks very much James for taking all the time to write out those steps for me.
I will give that a go at some point this afternoon. Eleanor----- Original Message ----- From: "James Scholes" <james@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Eleanor, 1. Go to www.fring.com2. Find the download section and download the correct version for your Symbian device.3. Download the file from the site. It will be a .sis or .sisx file.4. Navigate to the folder on your computer where you downloaded the file to and find the Fring installer.5. Connect your phone to your PC via USB, Bluetooth etc.6. Press enter on the Fring Installer file and then answer 'yes' at the 'Would you like to install the application to the phone?' dialog box prompt. 7. Follow the on-screen instructions on your phone to complete the instalation. Note that this is one way to do it, what I do with new apps is use a Symbian app called SymSMB. This app allows me to copy files direct to the phone from my PC. So, I would go to the website, find the correct file, and download it straight on to my phone over my home network. I could then navigate to the file using my phone's file manager and install it. I find this much quicker and this way I don't need to connect my phone with any cables or anything like that.On Sunday, December 07, 2008 at 02:40 PM (GMT), Eleanor Burke wrote:Thanks James. You will see from the list (I think) that Steve Nutt sent mea link for Fring. I just need to work out now how to download it. There are applications available for Symbian devices that workwith TALKS for calling Skype contacts.
