Same here, I've now downgraded back to 3.8 until a fix for this problem is
found.

Yes, I can confirm this odd behaviour with the official Skype. If you try
to
do it, it sends the machine really weird. For example, if I hit the
applications key on the Skype icon, the context menu doesn't seem to
open,
even though Window-Eyes says it, and from then on, I can't get back to
the
desktop, I have to reboot the computer.
Really odd.
