People have had problems with skype 3.8 spontaneously updating itself to the current 4.2 version despite auto updates being disabled in skype 3.8's options.
I found that installing the business version of skype 3.8 and disabling the autoupdates in skype's options has prevented these unsolicited updates from recurring.
someone needed the installer for skype 3.8 for Business and I put it on Filesend for them. I hthought maybe someone else might benefit from this.
