Are you sure you are clicking on Apply after you save the settings?

I have just started using Skype, and cannot understand why, when I change
settings and save them, Skype always reverts to the default settings when

next turn it on. Any ideas what I am not doing correctly?
Also, is there a skype users list? I have looked on Whitestick.co.uk and
did not find one.
