Hi Peter,

The Window-Eyes script can be made to display both, and it works here.
Just
change the options as I outlined.

The skype script does work with skype 4, but only the person's name is
displayed not both their name and skkype name. system access is the
same,
but NVDA DISPLAYS BOTH.

Hi Iain,

It doesn't matter to Window-Eyes, the skype script works with V3 or 4.

If you are a JAWS user, the best version is 3.8. There is a note to this
effect on the Skype website. I would think this would also apply to
users
of

access technologies other than JAWS.

That's interesting because in Skype 4.0.0.206 it certainly visually
appears in the Title Bar.

Hi George,

Yes, if he is running Skype 3.8 or below. In Skype 4, the username was
removed from the title bar and the system tray.

I'm sure that his username will be in the Title Bar when he runs
Skype. At least is does on my system.

George.

Hi

I am set up on Skype and so is a friend of mine but we both haven't a
clue how to use it. My friend's name is Seoirs e Neilan and my Skype
name I think is eleanor burke1. Now he hasn't a clue what his Skype
name is but he told me that there is some sort of search engine and
that I would be able to look up his name and then press enter on that
and I would get him. Any expert know if this is true please and could
you help me with being able to use this search function.
