Got to say, it's frustrating not being able to find out what's on each
channel during the ad's. If you have ad's on one side, they tend to be
timed to coincide with ad's on most other channels. Knowing what's on even
when the ad's are playing will help a lot with channel surfing.

£70 might be a lot for this privilege, but I'm sure, if/when I buy one, I
won't dwell on the cost as I happily surf the channels.

Cheers

OK Sky have just rung back and said that the box will read the name and
synopsis for the programme you are currently on. Whilst it won't read the
menus and list of recordings, it will read you the programme details if you
go in to your planner and press to either play the programme or bring up the
synopsis, so it will be quicker and more useful than my current method of
having to play programmes in order to find out what they are. . So it
doesn't sound perfect but it will be a big help compared to nothing at all.
She also said it has nine voices to choose from. They don't know whether the
device will be upgradable yet.
