I use it occasionally, not as often as I should but it does seem to get
updated, as I said in another message, i'll sometimes turn it on and its
back to the welcome channel, the other one in the lounge does this too and
thats on every day, its on right now actually as I'm videoing [DVD] a movie
off channel 5. two more later

It depends on how old. When was it last used? If it has been too long since it the software on it has been updated, which happens automatically through teh dish, it will not work. I think the only way of finding this out is to try it.

Hi,
Whats the betting they will be advertising their Sky service at every point possible? I did look at the channels on there, and you do get all the BBC and ITV stuff, but the rest is just radio and fringe/shopping channels. If you can get Freeview it is a much better bang for your buck imho.
