You would have to have a very good memory just to do all that.  That to me is
not accessible.  I thought the idea was that you could actually talk to the
accessible remote that is what the guys at sky told me but it is not accessible
as yet.

Hi Barry,

Yes you can.  The idea is that you find the programme you want to watch in
the app, count how many down it is, then press the TV button on the remote.
Then go across once and you are now in your programmes.  They are in a grid
three by three.  So if you go across 1 you're on Programme 2.  But if you go
down 1 you're on Programme 4.

When you've finished watching, you press the back button, then right once
then select, which deletes that programme.

Note and here's another oddity, just like ITV with audio description.  You
can delete programmes with the Android app from the box, but not the iOS
app.  Don't ask me why.

All the best

Steve

Wow!  That sounds like a big fail, Steve.  I assume you can do it with the
accessible remote control though.

Cheers

Barry

Hi Barry,

The main problem for people is that you can't play back programmes on the
box itself, using the app.

You can however use it, if you can use the app and count.

All the best

Steve

HI Mandy

Why are you finding Sky Q so frustrating?

Cheers

Barry

I had a fairly lengthy conversation with the accessibility representative
and she logged my complaint, also making a note of the fact that it had been
logged previously by me and others.

This afternoon I had a call from Sky and the guy said that there haven't
been many complaints to Sky but that a lot of comments have been put on
social media.  He said this is no use because they need customers account
numbers, details from the account such as name, address, password etc and
also the make of the router, the numbers on the phone also.
I gave him my information and he told me Sky are now working on it and I
told him that I won't be able to check as we now have skyQ which is proving
most frustrating at the moment.

Mandy.
