Hi Jackie.
I'd also have to agree with Ibrahim's general impressions of the Gnome. I
found the signal carried for next to no distance, I couldn't even listen to
mine on the next floor to the main unit, and returned it after a couple of
disappointing weeks use.

| for a long time and find it extremely useful. I've never had any
| problems with it. I think the idea of it being free is that, firstly,
| they aren't available to buy any more. Secondly, it has something to do
| with Insight Radio, and them encouraging people to tune in using the Sky
| Gnome.

| What you don't mention is that they are absolutely rubbish. I bought
| one of these fellows as you put it and it cost me 70 quid in to the
| bargain. The speakers on the thing are tinny, the device itself is very
| heavy and unwieldy having no handle and you don't get much usage out of
| a single charge. If they are giving them away for free then that's
| perhaps saying something, but they aren't worth buying.
