Hi Saqib

That was my understanding I must admit. Though I don't order anything using
the box, I have it connected to my BT landline, and because I am a Sky
Broadband customer, in answering Billy's question, I have to have the BT line
anyway.

Hi Billy. You do need a phone line to have Sky TV. It's written in the contract
which you are required to sign and agree to. The reason for this is that they
offer films and other third party services like shopping and sports betting and
casino games. You don't have to have your Sky TB phone wire connected if you
don't want to, but on installation you must have a working telephone line.
