Hi Andy I don't see any problem with you using the second scart plug to take the signal to another TV with a scart input. (I hope I'm understanding what you're looking for.) You could also attach it to a computer with aline in video capture card - the three phonos would supply the picture and sound. However for the last scenario, some Sky boxes come with 2 rf outputs - you could send one as normal to the TV and use the other to attach to the rf input of a standard TV tuner card. With this scenario you would then be able to set 1 channel for Sky and record what you choose on your sky box. An example card or usb2 tuner device would by the Hauppauge HVR series - it's fairly accessible and allows hybrid recordings, e.g. there are 2 tuners in the one card or usb2 fob - one for digital TV and one for analog TV - you would use the analog side for Sky recording. I do this very successfully. Regards.
