Hi,

I had that problem only once after downloading and installing the latest version and that was about a week ago or so and all's good now I'm glad to say.

When it did occur in losing my preferred US voice I rebooted and still the default voice returned but only for a few minutes when my favoured voice then came back to me!

I'm not sure if my preferred voice (US would have returned anyway if I hadn't rebooted though. ter

For me I'd leave well enough alone for now at any rate and see how it goes.

Hi all,

Sorry about the title but thought that would draw your attention.

Before I go through the hassle of reinstalling my iPhone’s software I thought I’d check if anyone else is having this below oddity or a similar one.

I use Siri female UK as my VoiceOver voice. Since installing iOS 13.4.1, Siri voice has twice disappeared at random and was replaced by the default voice of VoiceOver. The disappearance lasts for a short while, and then Siri female voice comes back online at will! And no, a soft reset doesn’t solve the problem; I can only sit tight until Siri finishes her coffee break and comes back on.

So, my question is, has anyone seen a similar behaviour on their iPhone? I’m trying to figure out if this is the doing of the new version of iOS and I just need to wait for the next update, or if it is the actual software on my iPhone that developed a glitch and it needs a fresh software install.

Regards,

Amro
