Hi Jackie,
Depends really on the price and the exhibitor. For example, I would never
go to someone's house to demo a 30 quid keyboard. Not everything is
expensive, but of course, consumers have their statutory rights, so can
easily get a refund if it is not suitable. Don't tar us all with the same
brush <Smile>.

Then just a friendly word of warning. Some vendors take advantage and can
be pushy. If there is something you think might help you, ask for a
demonstration of that product away from SV at your own home. If the vendor
doesn't want to do that, they aren't worth their salt anyway. Don't be
tempted to part with any money on a whim, especially if you think it's a
good product but need more time to think. Once you buy something, you are
often stuck with it, and that is a shame if it has cost a packet.
Just go with an open mind and take details of companies selling items you
are really keen to see again at home. Once you've then had your demos in
your own home, you have the option to decide. After all, a demo at home is
non-obligatory.
