I know people like recommendations for headphones, so thought I would share my view on a pair I recently bought at a Maplin store to use with my Minidisc, Olympus DM5 or iPad Mini on the go. I was looking for something portable, lightweight and comfortable with a good sound. The HD239 are all of the above, and come in a draw-string bag. They don't fold, and the cable is attached to the left earphone with the band going over the head. What I really like about these headphones is the gain on them. All too often, it is difficult to obtain a decent volume, but these are nice and not tinny either. Their rrp is £89.99, but now might be a good time to look around if you are in the market, Amazon are currently doing them for £69.99. Not the cheapest headphones, but certainly cover comfort, lightweight design and a good sound.
