Justine,

What exactly is the error?

Is the SMTP server claiming to have timed out?

Hi!

My ISP is Orange. I've been with them for 9 years and haven't had any problems until recently. When I keep having an intermittent problem whereby when I send E-mails, I get an error message to do with the smtp server. I receive them OK and after a while, they will send. I'm using OE 6. Anyone got any ideas how to resolve this issue?

Orange Technical Support haven't been much help, suggesting things like deleting and re-setting up my account, which I've done countless times. I could use thunderbird instead, but want to try and resolve this issue if I can.

Thanks.
