Hi, Peter, Thanks for that. I'll send the info to my friend. I don't think the attachments can really be the problem as I sent them to her in the first place and had no problem. She got them ok so why can't she send them? Best wishes, Joan. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Logue" <peterlogue@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, August 30, 2004 9:29 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Sending Attachments in OE Could be that they are just too large to send through your server. At least, it is for a friend who has Beeb.net. Here is an extract from an Email I got from her: When I send straight forward e-mails, they go in seconds, but when I send attachments, a photograph or one of the musical cards, it's taking between forty minutes and one hour which drives me daft. Also, a message pops up every minute to tell me the server has not responded and do I want to wait. I know it's nothing to do with the server and must have something to do with some setting or other but I can't think what. I've gone through all the property sheets in Outlook but can't find anything that would relate to this. That's the end of her Email. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what's wrong? Thanks in advance. Best wishes, Joan. ** Going on holiday and want to halt messages?
