I am being advised it is just that Seeing Eye is a one-off payment, and
Navigator is a subscription. It doesn't appeal to me either way, I am asking
for a mate who saw Seeing Eye and wonders what the difference is.

Then this is a rip-off because Navigator costs approximately £59 a year,
while Seeing Eye is £230 for a one-off payment. I wouldn't personally pay
for either myself, but a friend asked me and I honestly couldn't give a
definitive answer.

I know the difference, it's only the name. They have different brandings
based on different blindness organizations that they have partnered with. In
the US, it's the seing-eye. In the UK, it's RNIB, and RNIB is also the
international version.
