Hi Clive,
In Dropbox just put it in the "Public" folder and under application menu
click "copy public link" and it is in your clipboard automatically. Just use
ctrl v in your message to place it in the message.

I can't fathom out why people don't use Dropbox more.

1: Drag file into dropbox folder.
2: Right click on file and select "share dropbox link".
3: CTRL-V (ie: paste) the link, which is now in the clipboard, into the
email.

3 familiar actions, no spyware.
