Derek's Boot and Nuke, is a good free utility for doing this.
It wipes the drive to military standards.

If the laptop came with a Windows or Recovery CD, I'd be
inclined to reformat the drive, and then install from the
CD. It's not 100% secure, but will get rid of any general
data. However, if you have stored seriously personal
information, such as credit card details and such like,
which you do not want falling in to the wrong hands, I'd be
inclined to get one of those special reformatting programs
designed to seriously destroy data.

Is the easiest way to remove all of my information to just

account? Also when removing Jaws do I remove via Add/Remove
I know I could take it to PcWorld from whence it came and
pay for them
to remove everything but as not buying a replacement from
them don't
really want to do that.
