Hi Ali.
Rather than using a stick, you could always use the online version of System Access at www.satogo.com. Otherwise, NVDA is the only game in town to be stable and works without drivers from a stick.
Good luck in your new job.

Hi
I know about NVDA, but is there a good screenreader where, if you use it
on a stick, it doesn't install anything onto the hosts computer such as
an intercept driver etc? I might be getting an internship at a company
and need to use a screenreader on a stick for working at different
workstations. The other thing is that the screenreader needs to be
possibly scriptable and stable because the software I might be using is
designed by the company themselves.
I won't even consider JFW because, I hear you have to use a dongell
version if you want to use it on a stick (so you have to pay extra for a
dongell), but there's also the extra fee for needing a professional
licence.
I'm also angry that the Dolphin screenreader does not now have a 30
minute demo, so you can't even learn how to script properly or test it
with scripts, because it only now works for 30 days instead of being
restartable.
Thanks
Ari
