Well yes, I do mean 800x600, but when you say that is the minimum any screen
reader can handle, is that to say that a higher resolution is better?

Can I ask, do you mean 800 x 600 not the other way round? If that's the
case, then that's fine for a screen reader since that's the minimum
screen resolution that any screen reader can handle. Hope that helps.
