I think the difference here is the Online Today project. Before that kicked in,
RNIB I suspect would only give training in products they actually sold. To me,
this seems a perfectly reasonable position.

Hi Derek
As I posted before, I may have it wrong, and am happy to find out and report
back. But I thought RNIB could provide training on items outwith the shop,
or at least some hands-on prior to purchase.
Kind Regards,

Hi Jackie
I thought RNIB only offers training for products they sell.

As far as I know, RNIB is offering help to anyone regardless of what device
they have, as part of their £5m Online Today funding from the Big Lottery.
If this is not the case, or there is another scheme running that differs
from my information, then I am sure someone will put us right.
