I've got a Canon Canoscan 50 here which I've used with K1000. It's very
thin and not much bigger than an A4 sheet and I think it cost around
fifty quid. It's worked well enough although I've not tried doing
anything big like a book on it. At home I have an Epson perfection,
can't remember the model number and that's just dandy.

Hi Mel.

I have seen some of the cheaper cannon IDE scanners which are slim and
connect to the USB port working quite well with Kurzweil. I have also
seen the Epson 3490 which is larger and a little dearer working with
Kurzweil 1000 to.

Cheers

Hi All,

I am at last in a position to be able to buy a scanner to run with
Kurzweil 9. Can anyone recommend any that they have found particularly
good? I am aware that scanners are fairly cheap at the moment, or some
of
them are at least. can I get away with buying g a cheap one?

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Mel
