J: I have only used the scanner with ABBYY FR. Yes, I did make a comment about PB. In view of my more pressing issues of commissioning a new desktop PC, I am afraid that the PB issue is on one side at present. I'm trying hard not to be tempted by this scanner as mine is working fine. Out of interest though, does it work with the latest version of both K1000 and Open Book? By the way, as it was you asking on this list last week about your PowerBraille display, I got mine back from Dave Godfrey today, and it's working a treat. As I suspected, it wasn't a JAWS issue, but rather had something pushed down inside that stopped it working properly. And it was reasonably priced to have sorted, so I'm chuffed to little mintballs.
