Hi Mel,

One way of achieving this would be selecting part of the MP3 file in
question with a sound-editing program such as GoldWave. You could then cut
the selection and save it under a new name, then send it to your mobile.
Hth.

Cheers,

Mark

Subject: [access-uk] Saving part of an MP3 file

Hi all,

I want to know if it is possible to save a small part of an MP3 file to use
as a ring tone? I don't want to spend a lot of money on software to do this
and wondered what programs are out there that will do it.

Many thanks

Mel
