Many script writers including myself have now agreed to adopt the common
practice of putting all jaws scripts into the persoanlised settings folder
of jaws. So while I did not create the work for you of course, I will give
you two pieces of advice.
1. Contact Sight and Sound Technology. In short, they did the work for you,
and I am sure they will give you the tech support to put the situation
right.
2. Speaking generally however, go to the start menu, programs, jaws 70,
explore jaws, explore my settings. This is your jaws personalised settings
folder. You will probably not find too many files in this folder given that
you have just installed jaws, so put the scripts in there.
The reason we adopt this approach is so that should you need to restore back
to a previous configuration, this can be done simply by removing the scripts
in the personalised settings folder.

Hi All,
At work I had some Jaws scripts written for me so that I would have access
to one of our work databases. The other day however our network was
migrated from one network to another and I therefore had to reinstall Jaws
7.0 on my computer running Windows XP Professional. How do I install the
scripts that were written for me for our work database and where do these
go? Last time it was Sight and Sound who installed them so I didn't take
much notice. However, my workplace would rather not get Sight and Sound
to
come in again if it can be helped hence my question.
From what I gather it is quite simple to do but knowing something and
thinking you do so are completely different things.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
