I'm just looking at downloading a manual update but I need some eyes to let

It should do, mine has a reasonably pleasant if stuttery female voice.
Do a check on the firmware in Settings to see if it needs updating.

I bought a Samsung TV that came out in January 2020 and the voice is that
electronic one that I think Decktalk used. Could anyone tell me if a
one-year old Samsung would have the latest TTS.
