In that case I'd just get a pair of decent headphones.
Its more private that way too and in my opinion easier to deal with for the
other people in the room, and I think you get more done that way and can
take in the information better.

Thanks for that. What is the volume like? On my last laptop which wasn't a
smaller one, the highest volume was very difficult to listen to if there was
any background noise at all and when the fan periodicly came on it drowned
out the speakers. I found myself with my ear right down to the speakers
unless the room was silent.
