Andrew,
Please disregard my previous message.  After much "fiddling" I seem to have got 
it to 
work by creating two different Identities, one for incoming Yahoo groups mail 
and 
another   for outgoing.  
Hopefully I will no longer have to re-activate my account to keep receiving 
Yahoo 
groups mail.
