If you haven't formatted it, it's worth doing on the PC, even if you
specify the same format as you believe is already being used. I saw
this work for me in another situation. It's fair to say that I wasn't
receiving errors but the card just didn't work for me before that time.

Hope you get some success with it.

Subject: [access-uk] SD CARD QUERY

I'm having difficulty using a 64MB SD card with a Bug DAB radio. When I
try recording on to it I get an error reading card message. I've tried
formatting the card several times. Is there anything else that I could
try doing, perhaps on the PC? Or should I just accept that the card's
probably a dud?
