Richard,
Supernova is a combination of Lunar magnification and Hal screen reader.
The idea is that it is suitable for anyone who needs magnification only,
or who needs magnification with speech, or who uses speech only. I
suspect it's popular with libraries and the like because of a
combination of factors - it's one programme that (technically) meets the
needs of both low vision and blind users, there's no compatibility
issues, less of a learning curve, it's available on a pen drive, it's
cheaper than most other screen reader and magnification combinations and
Dolphin offer good technical support. I know there are other solutions
that meet some of these criteria, but I can't think of one meets all of
them.

Would JAWS or WE with a separate magnification prog be better
