SATOGO AND INTERNET CAFEHi Steve, I should have made myself clearer. Users aren't able to download and install software onto any of the computers in the internet cafe. Maintenance and upgrades are done on a daily basis before the cafe is open to the public. When I told him about the web based screen reader, he did investigate it, but i'm afraid security comes first. So if he doesn't allow any .exe to download, he doesn't allow Windows Update to run for example? That could leave him equally vulnerable. I doubt any internet cafe owner will take the risk as it could open their entire computer network to a virus attack. Cheers Tom. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ian Macrae To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, July 02, 2007 2:17 PM Subject: [access-uk] SATOGO AND INTERNET CAFE Anyone tried to use this web- based screen reader in an internet café please? http://www.bbc.co.uk This e-mail (and any attachments) is confidential and may contain personal views which are not the views of the BBC unless specifically stated.
