Hi. Iâve got rid of most of the Samsung bloatware because itâs not accessible with my screenreader. It hasnât done my laptop any harm at all. One thing I canât hyde is the side pannel that pops up on the right of the screen. Once again itâs not accessible. Have you managed to use any of these utilities with a screenreader? If so, I'd be glad for any pointers, as I haven't had a great deal of success. Most of this stuff is purely optional, some of the utilities however are essential for the proper operation of your computer. Easy Software Manager keeps your software up-to-date, this should have replaced Samsung Update Plus. Samsung Support Centre allows you to make adjustments to the various settings of your machine like whether to have Wi-Fi turned on or off, whether you want battery extender mode enabled or not and it also assists Samsung technical support staff in collecting system information for troubleshooting purposes. Iâve not come across settings centre before, but that may be part of the support mechanism, it may be something to do with the display options such as brightness, saturation and the wallpaper on your desktop. Some of these changes you can of course make in Windows, they just provide an easier and more accessible to the end user way of doing these simple tasks. Samsung File Sharing allows you to beam across files using Bluetooth to another laptop and receive files. The idea is that you shouldnât need to use a pen drive. Finally, catalyst Control Centre is part of the AMD graphics control hardware so Iâd leave well alone. All the best, Ibrahim.
