Hi Carol,

"Eject" is usually used to eject a CD, but these days it seems to have
crept into other areas.

Personally, I always use "Safely Remove Hardware" which seems to do
extra checks such as ensuring you don't have a Windows Explorer window
open looking at the device.

Subject: [access-uk] SAFELY REMOVING HARDWARE

Hi all,

I've always been a bit puzzled as to when I use "Savely Remove
Hardware" or
"Eject" before removing cards from the computer. Can someone please
tell me
which should be used when?

Thanks.
