hi ali, just leave it running, i have a 250 gb freecom ext hd hear and like
you i only reboot after about 4 days or if needed.

I managed to get Maxtor 300r external hard drive up and running under
windows xp home addition. My question here, do I need to turn the unit on
when I need to use it, or, can I leave it running with the computer? I only
