Subject: [access-uk] Routers Again.

Hi All.

I spoke to a computer repairs guy yesterday who said I probably didn't need
a new router it is an incompatibility issue he said and very common.

I'd already bought the router by this time and my mate set it up for me and
so far it's remaining connected but will only work via Intel Wireless not
through Windows.

What might we have done wrong?

Also it is not security enabled at present although same friend is willing
to try to put this right next week.

Because it is used I guess, there's very little instruction so how would we
secure it and also enable Windows to work with it?

The computer repair guy said Linksys are rubbish but then he is affiliated
to Belkin in some way could that be reason?

Mandy.
