[access-uk] Restoring contacts on Ifone

Hi,
I have written to an Ifone list but no one has answered. I got a new phone
for work, an Ifone 4, which my husband thought it would be good to add to
Icloud! So it added all my contacts from my Ifone 4s. Then I decided to
delete all the unwanted contacts from the work phone, which promptly deleted
them from my own phone. Is there any way I can get them back without backing
up the phone as I don't want to lose any more contacts? Also is there any
way of restoring the contacts I have lost?
