For the record and so as no one thinks I'm brushing things under the carpet. Andy, First of all because of your widely inappropriate and hot headed approach here let me say you're being removed from access-uk and very publically so. Elenar will be placed on moderation for openingly admitting she knew she was stepping out of line by posting a response. Now to protect my own integrity I must respond to mail on this list who has nothing to do with the recycle-it email list! how much more inappropriate can you be Andy! I have bent over backwards to try and help you with this case. now because you decided you wanted to let things drop and apparently see the other person isnt' having anything done against his membership you've lost your rag. your claims are false and I have tried to help you as best I could. The last I heard from you you'd said you where letting it drop. I out of curtisy gave you a days grace to change your mind. This wasnt' asked for by you. I explained in an email to you that that was fine, if you wanted to forget the whole thing and where not contacting your local Police then it would have to be let go on the list as well. no case no proof, impartiality. 24 hrs where up and I hadnt' heard back from you regarding my last email. Naturally it was safe to presume everything was back to Status Quo. If this wasn't the case then you should have contacted myself and the other moderators on the recycle-it list. I am not your babysitter or a mind reader! Instead you decide to come onto access-uk and recycle-it, (btw your recycle-it mail has been declined from going out on the list). You were and have been advised in the past and even yesterday to contact the moderator address instead you blunder on in a temper and post directly to a list that has nothing to do with your difficulty witha recycle-it member. This will be sorted ASAP. Barry. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Andy Sent: Wednesday, November 11, 2009 6:42 PM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Resolution to recent dispute between Mr Logue & Mr Grunshaw responce Dear Barry and list members. Barry, there has not been a resolution to this matter, and you know this fine as we have been in communication with each other today. I have not dropped my case against Mr. Grimshaw, so I don't understand why you seem to be covering everything up like this and telling the Re-cycle list members that all is fine now. As you know Barry, things are far from fine. The Activation Key for the computer that I purchased from Mr. Grunshaw is indeed illegal. Microsoft confirmed this by phone today and I've already conveyed this information to you. In your message to the list, it sounds as though . I was the culprit here. I've had to cool down you said. Of course I'm very angry Barry and I'm more angry now to see that you are brushing the whole thing under the carpet. I did not state at any time that I was dropping my case against this guy, indeed, I confirmed this to you as recently as last evening. I am the victim here. I purchased a computer from this guy, who provided a copy of the operating system and an illegal activation key. The engineer who had to repair the computer on it's arrival, reinstalled the software and immediately, Microsoft picked this up. Subsequently, every time I boot this computer up, I am being told by Microsoft that I have been the victim of fraud and I'm taken to their site, in order to purchase a legal OS. I have indeed contacted Strathclyde Police and I'm actually waiting for a call from someone in Edinburgh. So things are far from resolved. This matter could have been resolved immediately by Mr. Grimshaw. All he had to do was send me the Original Operating System CD. Indeed I actually thought that I had this. I did not think for a minute that I had a blank copy. Everyone knows Barry, if you are selling software on this list, or be it, along with a computer, you need to provide the original legal CD, and not a copy. What would stop someone from selling the same product again and again. So yes Barry, I'm still far from happy and very disappointed with the management team of this list for not supporting or assisting me. As soon as you were told that I was going to contact the authorities and mentioned fraud, you all freaked in fear of a court action, and indeed proposed that both James and I be suspended from the list until the matter had been resolved. So you don't really care about us the members, you are only concerned about yourselves and I no longer wish to be associated with this or the Access UK list. Concerning the latter, as this subject was discussed on the Access.UK list, I have sent a copy of this message to that list also, before the members are told of some miraculous resolution.
