Andy, I haven't been following this thread, but have you tried
www.jfwlite.com go to helpful hints and in there you can see items which may
help you.

Still struggling to make IE my default browser, even though now it is my
only browser!
I'm wondering what would happen if I checked the box that says: "reset web
settings." What will be changed, and will it affect how JFW functions? -
