Control r has worked on this message, Steve, but I had to wait several
seconds before I could type.
It isn't a real problem, as I have found a work-around, but wondered why it
was happening, that was all.

Hi Alison,
I can honestly say I never see any lag when doing Control+R, and it always
works for me.
All the best

Mostly, when replying to messages, I use control r, the shortcut for "reply
to"; however, often this doesn't work and I have to use alt l instead, the
shortcut for "reply to all". I also fancy that when using either of these,
my pc is slower than it used to be before presenting the blank page for me
to respond on.
Am I the only one who has this issue?
