Personally, I would get someone to help you if possible to change the floppy
if you have never ventured inside a PC before, at least until you can
familiarise yourself with its components and layout. Each computer, while
similar in their objective, does have a slightly different layout, and
therefore a different way of being stripped to access the interior.
It is easy to change a floppy drive, not that I've ever done it personally
because I'm not technically gifted enough to do it. But Ian has had his mits
inside the PC for years, so he just changes most things if necessary. I would
just urge you to be cautious if you have never done it before.

My internal floppy drive has packed up and somebody has given me a working
second-hand one.
I am totally blind and have not ventured inside a pc before. I have been
told that it is relatively easy to swap this round.
Can anybody advise if this is too fiddly and/or give any practical
pointers. If so I would be more than willing to give my phone number off list
and ring.
