Hi George,

I will do that. Many thanks for your reply. Window-eyes appears to work
very well with Remote Desktop, and I'd like to get it to work with Remote
Assistance. The strange thing is, I have tested with 2 desktop machines and
a laptop, and they all crashed!

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

If it's a Stop message (Blue Screen of Death) and you can
get some sighted help, you may find that it gives you some
clues, perhaps advising to check hardware drivers. It
should at least give you a hexadecimal error code which
would help.

I have both working quite frequently on different systems.

George.

Hi George,

It's a stop message, but not had any sighted help when I
have been trying to
get it to work. I don't have enough sight to read the
screen.=20

Have you had Remote Assistance working? Remote Desktop
works fine.

Can you try to establish what sort of error message are you
getting when Remote Assistance fails without W.E. running?

George.

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone has had Remote Assistance working
successfully with
Window-eyes? I can't get it to work without the computer
that is requesting
the Remote Assistance from crashing. It's certainly nothing
to do with
Window-eyes, as I have tested without it running with the
same results.=3D20

Window-eyes and Remote Desktop works perfectly on my XP Pro
machine.

Andrew
