It is not a long cane I wanted. I have not been trained in their use.
I have bad legs and so I use a walking cane to give me some support and use
it as a symbol cane mainly.

There seems plenty of choice for long canes that fold on the RNIB web site
both in graphite or aluminium. It seems unthinkable that RNIB would only
stock rigid canes as they were very much always used in the minority so I
wonder if you had bad advice.

I wanted a cane which would fold into several sections so that it would be
easier to put it somewhere when I was out, in a pub or restaurant etc. The
only ones that the RNIB sell currently are rigid canes, so a single long
cane.

I needed to buy a new white cane recently.
I first visited the RNIB in Judd Street but found that the canes they were
selling were not to my liking.
The lady behind the counter was kind enough to look on-line for me to see if
there is another supplier that I could use.
She pointed me to Amazon where they have a third party seller who has
exactly what I wanted.
I placed an order with them.
As white canes are eligible for VAT relieve I now need to send the seller a
certificate to this effect.
Does anybody on the list know where I can download a suitable template
please?
