I got the update, without any problems.
I didn’t have to remove my old version.

hello Alison,
it's not Paul, but the same thing was happening on both mine and my wife's
iphone yesterday.
for some reason if you already had the old version of the easy reader app
installed it wasn't offering you the updated version.
even if you searched for it in the app store it just offered the open button.
but if you uninstall the old version, then search for it in the app store it
will give you an re-install button and tapping on this will install the updated
version and then allow you to sign into the rnib reading service.
