Hi David,
It is about 10 AA batteries if I remember right, but it is, quoting my
engineer, "a pig" to do properly. He does do it though.
All the best

George
It may have been me, but the company, in Stafford, who I used to use is no
more.
From memory, isn't the Braille 'n' Speak comprised of AA NiCad cells?
Mine went the way of most good things many years ago.

Subject: [access-uk] Refurbishing custom rechargeable battery packs
Hi All,
A while back, there were some recommendations of good, reliable companies
who could renew the batteries on the likes of the Braille 'n' Speak, and
similar where either a replacement was not available or cost an outlandish
figure from the original supplier.
Any suggestions please?
George
