Yes thanks Jackie, that is exactly what happened.

Hi Alfred

I believe that if you download a synopsis, you can then buy the book and
that updates it to the full version. I did this in iBooks with a title,
just to see how reading it on my iPad would work, and I eventually purchased
the book which updated my sample to the full thing.

I hope that helps.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

I am amazed at that Ed as someone could read a book in that time and just
get a refund. My query was about paying for the QuickPick. Anyway as it
turned out thankfully I had not purchased the synopsis as I did pay for the
complete book. Now maybe the purchase of the complete book cancelled out the
synopsis.

Hi Alfred,

I think you emailed the list asking whether you can get a refund on a Kindle
book. Apologies, I accidentally deleted your original email so the subject
line of this response is almost certainly different.

The answer is yes, as long as you request a refund within seven days of
purchase. You need to go to the Manage your Kindle page on the Amazon
website. Choose actions for the title you want to return, and choose return
for refund.

Hope that helps.

Ed
